Jill Mara was our guest tonight on Life Changes With Filippo Radio show, and she was our first channel, and the first channeling we have had on air. Incidentally, it was Jill's first time that she channeled on air as well.

Jill Mara, author of the channeled book Keys to Soul Evolution: A Gateway to the Next Dimension (7D Publishing, September, 2009, $16.95) is an up and coming channel of higher dimensional beings that is dedicated to sharing her ability to bring messages of spiritual growth to humanity.

Jill Mara connected with Simion, the Evolutionary Collective of 7th dimension light beings during a meditative exercise to meet her spiritual guides in September, 2005. Instead of personal guidance, they delivered a message regarding an upcoming shift in human consciousness. She soon began verbally channeling answers to questions from friends and family about life, the universe and reality.

Eventually, she sat down at her computer to type telepathically relayed information from Simion. The first time she tried this, she automatically typed several pages and a list of topics which she later discovered were the introduction and chapter titles of a book.

Being a reserved, “down-to-earth,” and practical person, she at times was overwhelmed and doubted the idea that she was being entrusted with this universal communiqué for humanity. However, with the positive and loving encouragement of those that read the channeled material, she overcame the doubts and committed to bringing forth the material. In the available time she had over the last few years, she worked diligently to complete the now published Simion book.

Jill has since been interviewed on radio programs, conducted live Simion channeling sessions at spiritual gatherings and book stores and will be a featured channel in the upcoming sequel to the documentary Tuning In. She is traveling in the United States and is available to share her spiritual experiences and to channel the knowledge of multi-dimensional beings.

Prior to the book release, Jill was active with her yacht charter brokerage business in the US Virgin Islands where she lived for eight years. What if we could make this Holiday Season less stressful, more fun, and actually be able to enjoy ourselves, appreciate our families, and focus on what we’re grateful for in a genuine way? Below are some important holiday stress-management tips I teach people in my books, articles, speeches, and workshops. I’d love to share some of these helpful ideas with your audience for this Holiday Season.

Tips for a low-stress, positive Holiday Season:

Be yourself – don’t try to be who you think you “should” be with your family, friends, in-laws, or guests – just be you!

Focus on the good stuff – choose to focus on the things you like and appreciate about your family members, instead of obsessing about the things that annoy or upset you

Do what you want to do – think about what would be fun for you and your immediate family to do for Thanksgiving and communicate this to everyone else (in-laws, extended family, etc.)

Let go of past resentments – holding a grudge is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die – just let things go

Write “thankful cards” – take some time to write cards to the people in your life (those you will see this Holiday Season and others) and let them know what you appreciate about them

Go with the flow and have fun – whatever you choose to do this Holiday Season, be flexible and choose to enjoy yourself

Make it easy – do whatever you can for yourself and those around you to make the planning, food preparation, clean up, and the whole Holiday Season experience as easy and stress-free as possible

Count your blessings – remember that even in the midst of the stress and frustration of these times and the holiday season, Thanksgiving really is a time for us to reflect on what we’re grateful for…take some time this Holiday Season to count your blessings, even if it seems a little forced or cheesy

After leaving radio for the worlds of television and film, in 1988, he was offered the position of hosting American Top Forty. Casey Kasem left the show, and Shadoe became the new host for the next 6 years. During this time, it became the most successful and widely syndicated radio show in the world. It was broadcast in 120 countries to an estimated 1 billion listeners every week. His voice became one of the most recognizable voices in the world. At the same time, he appeared on Hollywood Squares, which for three years was a top 5 syndicated show. As a regular on the show, he became a household name. The show continued in successful syndication for another three years.

He starred in two network series for CBS, the Fred Silverman production "Loose Cannon," and for four years the Top 20 series "Dave's World" with Harry Anderson, Meshach Tayler, and DeLane Matthews.

He has frequently been a guest star on a wide range of hit TV series including: Beverly Hills 90210, Baywatch, The Larry Sanders Show, Caroline in the City, Clueless, Burke's Law, Fast Track, and Sonny Spoon (w/Mario Van Peebles).

FROM THE BEGINNING

Declared one of the original "Rough Riders," he was born and raised in Jamestown, North Dakota. A self-proclaimed radio prodigy, he built a radio station in his home at the age of 10, and began broadcasting for a mile in every direction. The audacious whippersnapper - driven by sheer enthusiasm - went on to create a "viral marketing campaign" which led to his being hired as host of his own rock radio show on local commercial station KEYJ. He was 11 years old and was promoted as "The World's Youngest DJ."

Majoring in Commercial Art and Radio/TV Journalism at the University of North Dakota and the University of Arizona, he put himself through college working in radio at KILO in Grand Forks, North Dakota, KQWB in Fargo, North Dakota, and KIKX in Tucson, Arizona. Even then, described as a workaholic and overachiever, while going to school he worked full-time at the stations and appeared in university plays on weekends.

As a radio personality hosting an evening program (6:00pm - 9:00pm) at WRKO in Boston, his program gained some of the highest ratings in the history of Boston radio (33% of listeners aged 12 and over). He was then recruited away from Boston by the number one radio station in the country, KHJ in Los Angeles.

He was enormously successful in Los Angeles. Not only was he regularly rated as a number one radio personality, he was instrumental in creating two of the most commercially successful music formats in radio - both of which have been copied, adapted, and built upon throughout the world.

As program director at KRLA, he created the first financially successful Album Oriented format for AM radio. As both director of programming and drive time on-air personality, he created a distinctive "attitude". Within 6 months from the introduction of his new programming format, the station shot to #1.

As program director at KMET-FM, he created the first commercially successful Album Oriented Rock format for FM radio. Again, as the PD and on-air personality, he created a consistent musical approach and "attitude," and again, within 6 months, the station shot to #1. ADVERTISING AND TELEVISION PRODUCTION

Shadoe created the production company "ShadoeVision," which produced radio campaigns for almost every major artist (e.g. Elton John, Aerosmith, David Bowie, Talking Heads, Depeche Mode, and the Rolling Stones). The company also created advertising campaigns for major concert tours for artists like Rod Stewart, Queen, and Fleetwood Mac.

In the 1980's, his company was retained to devise a television advertising strategy and campaign for a 14 store electronics chain known as the Federated Group. He created and played a character named Fred Rated in a series of commercials that were a mix of Saturday Night Live and Monty Python. Over a period of six years, he and a small team of artists: Chris Culverhouse, Chuck Cirino, Michael Hill, Dave Nichols, and Ed Freeman, created over 1,200 different commercials.

After the first weekend of the campaign, sales increased 500%. In four years, the group grew from 14 local stores to 78 superstores in 5 states. The success of the Federated advertising campaign was extraordinary. It was the first regional advertising campaign ever to have received a 2 page spread in Time magazine.

Fred Rated's huge exposure resulted in Shadoe's invitation to join Hollywood Squares in 1987 and to host American Top 40 the next year.

His company also created, produced and sold to HBO, an experimental comedy show named "Shadoevision." Again, he created cutting edge production design utilizing multi-media exploration, and a complex, intricate, hyperactive editing style. Many of the techniques implemented in this show were later adopted by MTV and others.

His awards in advertising include Cleo Awards and the Big Apple Award.

In ART, he is currently completing a series for a Gallery showing. It is a large format, multimedia suite - acrylics, pen and ink, and collage created from computer generated, printed materials. It is entitled, "The Transdimensional Symbolism of Rocky Waters."

He has written four children's books as well as creating the characters and being Art Director for the projects. The first is called, "The Big Galoot," which he hopes to have released within the next year.

Carushka Jarecka is the founder of one of the most successful specialty apparel companies in the world. Carushka literally created the “bodywear” concept and the market was changed forever. Today, the bodywear and activewear industry is a multi- million dollar business and Carushka is the pioneer that set the boom in motion.

When she started her own company in 1978 at age 25 with only $3000, Carushka knew that to be successful in the competitive world of fashion she would need to create a niche that reflected how women feel about themselves. “My greatest strength as a business woman is originality. Our corporate slogan ‘expect the unexpected’ describes what I want to impart to my customers. My designs are meant to reflect the balance between being strong, yet feminine.”

At the age of 23 she became head designer, managing six divisions. Carushka discovered a unique new stretch cotton/lycra fabric and designed the first striped boat necked leotard, which was deemed “unwearable” by the store owner. But Capezio Dancewear customers thought differently -- they bought out all six pieces in one day and Capezio had to immediately reorder. From that moment on, Carushka0s Bodywear designs have been in demand.

Through her innovations, such as creating the first striped leotard, using cotton stretch fabrics, and designing costumes for motion pictures such as “Staying Alive,” which garnered her a loyal celebrity following, Carushka has continued to set the standard in the bodywear industry. In 1982 she was voted one of America’s Top Ten Designers by the New York Fashion Group, in 1987 she was named Outstanding Young Working woman by Glamour magazine, and Carushka’s business model is a case study in the marketing textbook Contemporary Marketing by Boone and Kurtz.

Citing Coco Chanel, Eleanor Roosevelt. Peter Rodger grew up looking through a camera lens. As a teenager, the award-winning British director honed his skills by assisting his father, George Rodger, the renowned photo-journalist and co-founder of Magnum Photos.

After completing his education at England's Maidstone College of Art, his skill with the lens made him one of the most sought-after talents in the European and United States Advertising Industry, shooting numerous car, clothing and cosmetics companies' print and commercial campaigns in over forty different countries.

Dorothy assists her clients in becoming conscious co-creators of their lives instead of being victims of years of intergenerational programming. “The truth is that it is an exciting change and not one to be feared,” she says. The Mayan fifth world completed in 1987. The sixth world starts in 2012. What this means is that Planet Earth and the Solar System will come into galactic synchronization with the rest of the Universe. So we, as humans, are in between worlds, so to speak. It is the time when we as individuals and collectively as humans will “work through our stuff”. The Mayan sixth world is actually blank. This means it is up to us, as co-creators, to start creating the new world we want for our families, our planet and ourselves. In order to do that we have to clear illnesses from our physical bodies, things we haven’t yet let go of emotionally and are buried deep inside and things that are held deep in our belief systems that are spiritual misconceptions. We have to open up to the highest levels of light and truth and in order to do that we have to eliminate everything that isn’t at that level of light and truth from our physical bodies, emotional holdings, spiritual understanding, etc.

This has to be done on the world stage as well. So even though it may look frightening with wars, financial collapse, and natural catastrophes, it is actually the world going through “its stuff” so it can go through a re-structuring as well.

I first met our guest while she was just getting out of the hospital after a major surgery and illness and she needed my help just to walk. It was a pleasure to see her looking great, sexy, happy and very much alive tonight. Our guest on Life Changes With Filippo Radio Show tonight was Kelly Gallagher.

Kelly Gallagher is a very special lady whose struggles stand as a light to all of us in the medical field of what can happen if the spirit to live rises above the wail of doubt and pessimism known as diagnosis. But, funny and interesting story aside, James Gilliland is the director of the Self Mastery Earth Institute and ECETI, Enlightened Contact with Extraterrestrial Intelligence. James Gilliland was raised in a small desert town spending most of his time in nature. He studied biology, chemistry, physics, psychology, pre-law and pre-dental, yet did not acquire a degree or practice professionally. James has in depth experience and knowledge in construction industry, grocery industry, real estate industry and owned his own commercial real estate company which developed and managed shopping centers and other large multi-million dollar projects. He was also on the board of directors for the chamber of commerce.

After a near death experience brought about by drowning, James could no longer continue business as usual. His eyes were fully opened, and he saw the lack of love and joy in his life and his work. Life Changes Live! With Guest Eric Pearl

Our Life Changes Live! Event tonight was the biggest yet. We held it at the Universal City Hilton in Ballroom A and we had such a great turn out, the best yet. Our guest was our most well known yet, as a matter of fact, we were very honored to have him, and he was gracious and magnanimous.

Our guest was Eric Pearl, and since we haven't had the pleasure of having him on our radio show and of writing about him on this blog yet, I'll share a little bit about him here.

Eric is an internationally recognized healer who has appeared on countless television programs in the US and around the world, spoken by invitation at the United Nations, presented to a full house at Madison Square Garden, been interviewed in various publications including The New York Times, and most recently featured in the film, The Living Matrix.

As a doctor, Eric ran a highly successful chiropractic practice for 12 years until one day his patients began reporting that they felt his hands on them – even though he hadn’t physically touched them. Patients soon reported receiving miraculous healings from cancers, AIDS-related diseases, epilepsy, chronic fatigue syndrome, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, birth disfigurements, cerebral palsy and other serious afflictions. All this occurred when Eric simply held his hands near them – and to this day, it continues.

One of the vendors at the event, was so taken by what Ananda and her group are doing, that they donated the revenues they made that night to Ananda's non-profit organization. Now that's what Life Changes is all about!

Tonight's guest on Life Changes With Filippo was Suzanne Taylor, founder of the non-profit organization Mighty Companions, who has been involved with films since she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude from NYU. Having been an actress, she crossed over to the other side of the camera as the Executive Producer of the 2009 EBE Award winning film, “What on Earth? - Inside The Crop Circle Mystery.” She also was the Executive Producer of the feature documentary CROP CIRCLES: Quest for Truth.

In February, What on Earth? won the 2009 EBE Award for Best Feature Documentary at the UFO Congress Film Festival, the same award the other film received in 2003.

As the founder of Mighty Companions, a non-profit dedicated to consciousness expansion, her Los Angeles home is a gathering place for forward-thinking activists. A fine arts post-impressionist painter, Suzanne had a one woman show. She is an accomplished chef, and author of The Anybody Can Make It, Everybody Will Love It Cookbook. Life Changes Live! With Guest Suzanne Taylor

It's was time for our third show and boy did we have a show. This was so exciting, and so different. As the show is growing, the audience is growing, and so much is changing for the better, and it is all so exciting. This show was held in Studio City, CA and we had the largest audience yet and the most vendors and people stayed after the longest. This time, since it wasn't in a hotel we had the place for the whole night and for awhile there it seemed like people were going to be staying all night. It gets that fun.

But the fun truly begins for us as we start to plan it, and I would hope for the audience, the moment they decide to come. And it all starts coming together as the audience starts to come in the day of the show.

This show featured Suzanne Taylor as our guest interviewee, Director of "What on Earth - Inside the Crop Circle Mystery." I not only got to interview her but we showed the trailer of her movie on the big screen.

This time, besides the musical accompaniment of Marco Missinato, which has become a staple of Life Changes Live!, we were graced with two musical guests. Our first guest was my friend Laura De Leon who is a spiritual life coach in her own right, but a marvelous singer as well, sang two of her original compositions.

Secondly, we had The Green Children, Marlo Bevan and Mila Sunde, whom some of you may remember from one of our past radio shows. On the radio show we played their hit single, "Hear Me Now," and during our live show, they sang it live, along with another song, accompanied by their full band.

Our Luminary of the Month was Daisy Doucet who has written a book for children about how we are all equal and she goes around schools, donating her time reading the book and teaching children to get along with each other, no matter the race, color or creed. Good going Daisy, more power to you.

The Green Children on Life Changes With Filippo

Tonight's guests were the international pop music duo "The Green Children," made up of Mila Sunde and Marlow Bevan.

The international pop duo - The Green Children - Marlow Bevan and Milla Sunde - have recently signed with Universal Music Group and are currently in the studio in Los Angeles with producer Stuart Brawley (Michael Jackson, Don Henley), readying their U.S. debut.

This first CD project will be entitled Empower, with marketing, promotion and tour to reflect this title. In keeping with their humanitarian mission, proceeds from the sales of the CD, will be donated towards the education and healthcare efforts in India and Bangladesh, in partnership with the Grameen Bank.

Since forming The Green Children Foundation in 2006, Marlow Bevan and Milla Sunde, have been working with 2006 Nobel Peace Prize recipient Professor Muhammad Yunus, who established the Grameen Bank, to help reach the youth of the world and create awareness through their music to raise money for global issues such as poverty, substandard healthcare and lack of education.

The Green Children's recent fundraising DVD/CD entitled "Hear Me Now," released in Norway, sold 100,000 units and raised over $500,000, which was donated to build the first eye clinic in Bangladesh, where over 1.8 million people are forced into blindness due to eye cataracts. The monumental eye clinic, which opened in May 2008, is already performing cataract surgeries, where the operations have been made available and affordable to the afflicted poor in Bangladesh.

He served as a Writer/Producer for all four seasons of Battlestar Galactica, and has written for such shows as Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, The Twilight Zone, and Katee Sackhoff’s first series, The Fearing Mind.

Weddle is also the author of two books: the critically acclaimed “If They Move… Kill ‘Em!” The Life and Times of Sam Peckinpah, and the best seller, Among the Mansions of Eden. He has written for such publications as: Rolling Stone, the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post, the San Francisco Chronicle, Sight & Sound, Film Comment, Variety, San Jose Mercury News, and L.A. Weekly.

It was fascinating to be in the mind of a person who creates for us on screen such imaginative scenes and plots and characters. This was a very cool interview and with one of Hollywood's biggest stars yet.

Johnny Seitz on Life Changes With Filippo Radio Show

Johnny Seitz was our guest on "Life Changes With Filippo" tonight. Now, Johnny was born with the affliction of Autism, and yet went on to become an accomplished professional ballet dancer, mime, martial artist, lecturer, Life Coach and Author of “Bio-Typing: Beyond Body Language.”

As a way of coping, living in a “normal” world he developed BioTyping which he now is using to help the “normal” people figure out “our” world. He will change the way you look at the way we literally “move” in our world if you listen to his interview.

I was looking forward meeting Johnny and to experiencing all that a dear friend, Janet Baghoomian, had told me I would experience in a session with him. I didn't have time to do a session with him before the show, but I did make time to visit him in his studio. Even though I didn't have a session, all that Janet told me was true, and more, and I couldn't wait to share this information with you all tonight.

Johnny paid me the biggest compliment. First of all, though Johnny comes across as a "normal" person, he is proud to say that he isn't, in many ways, and you will understand why when you hear the interview. Because in so many ways, the way he thinks is more "right," than the way we "normal" people think, those of us who do not have the affliction of the type of autism that Johnny has.

It is interesting how Johnny has studied "normalcy" so much that he has it down, and now it is us who can learn from him. But the fact remains, that there are some aspects of his affliction that still affect him. And because of this, Johnny does not do interviews, or if he does, he does them on the phone. But Johnny came to us and was even filmed during the interview.

But best of all, he always has his wife present while he speaks because he gets uncomfortable in the interviewing process. God bless him, even though his wife was there, she left the room and didn't come back because Johnny felt comfortable with me and a great interview ensued.

After the show, while we took pictures, something really funny happened that I can't wait to share in a later post or on air. I'm writing this, not as a tease as much as a reminder to myself not to forget to tell that story sometime soon.
