Alan Tratner, “Minister of Ideas:” Former Professor of Environment and Energy; Co-Founder of “Earth Day;” Director of the Green Business Conference of ECO EXPO; Founder of Green2Gold Incubators, was our guest on the "Life Changes With Filippo" Radio Show tonight.

Alan has lived more than one life this lifetime, that is the only way I can explain someone who has done so much. Above I listed just a couple of his accomplishments, but the list goes on and on. You can a little more extensive a list at our website www.LifeChanges.ws.

Besides the title of "Minister of Ideas," Alan could be appropriately titled, the "Minister of Green," and other such titles. Now that Earth Day is entering it's 40th year since it's inception, it seems like an obvious event, and one that many of us enjoy or participate in, but there was a time when people did understand why an Earth Day type of event was necessary. In fact, one could say that Alan has been fighting some uphill battles.

And yet, knowing Alan, you find him, more often than not, smiling or laughing and carrying on with the "Business of the Planet," as if everything is going to be okay. And if Alan has anything to do about it, it will. Because Alan's idea is that, there is no right and no wrong, per se. He is not looking for reasons why thinks are the way they are, or someone to blame. Instead, Alan is focused on solutions, and for everyone to get involved in creating them and living them out, for the good of all.

That means, getting kids involved with his Dream-a-lings project all the way up to his sponsorship deals for his Green2Gold Incubators with big companies, company who arguably may have caused some of the problems in the first place, interestingly enough. But according to Alan, it takes everyone.

The First Life Changes Live! Event With Guest Julian Michael

Tonight marked the start of something big, and something new for Life Changes as a company. We have embarked upon doing live events as an extension of our Life Changes With Filippo Radio Shows.

Our very first show was held at the Hilton in Irvine in a beautiful ballroom there. We had the start of something big. It wasn't even the fact that zillions of people came, or that we had people wanted to be vendors at our event, without us even putting it out there, or anything else. What we saw and felt was the energy of the people that came, the anticipation before the show, the excitement during the show, and the fact that no one left after the show, for over an hour, until the hotel personnel asked us to leave the room because they had to clean it.

That meant so much to me.

Our first live event guest ever, was Julian Michael, the numerologist, whom we had had on the Radio Show already and he was a big hit, both on radio and live. In fact, one lucky person won a session with him right on stage. According to her, he was right on.

Our first live guest musician was Yangjin Lamu, the Cultural Ambassador of Tibet, singing accompanied by her guitarist from Taiwan, Remi Huang. It was quite a cultural affair, and Yangjin not only sang but later in the show graced us with her Tibetan traditional dancing.

I wrote, "guest musician," because we had our own "resident" musician, Marco Missinato who played his music at the keyboards at the beginning of the show, during and at the end as well as accompanied me on a couple songs.

The reasons we had Dr. Ken Best, D.C, on the show were many. He is a man of many talents and we were looking forward to sharing him with our family, friends and fans. Cheryl Canfield on Life Changes With Filippo Radio Show

Cheryl Canfield, Author, Life and Wellness Counselor, Teacher of Spiritual Principles, and President of “Friends of Peace Pilgrim,” was our guest on "Life Changes With Filippo" this evening.

Friends of Peace Pilgrim is a non-profit organization carrying on the work and memory of the legend of the same name talk about changing the way we look at “peace.” As the co-compiler of "Peace Pilgrim: Her Life and Work in Her Own Words," a spiritual classic with over 500,000 copies in print, and compiler and editor of the book "Peace Pilgrim’s Wisdom," an inspiring collection of seed thoughts from Peace’s lectures and writings, she is a leading authority on the life of a lady who literally walked across America several times promoting peace.

Peace Pilgrim was an inspiration to many, including Cheryl, and now Cheryl is inspiring others through carrying on the words, work and memory of a person who showed us what "being the change" is really all about. Talk about one person being able to make a difference.

Cheryl now makes a difference too in her own way and shared some interesting stories of her life and how she has changed to being the person that she is and her personal journey and beliefs about being the change.

Cheryl is an author in her own right as well, having written "Profound Healing: The Power of Acceptance on the Path to Wellness," a down-to-earth account of her journey as she confronts a diagnosis of advanced cancer in 1989. Turning down proposed radical surgeries, she focused her attention on attempting to come to a place of inner peace before dying. In the process she became well. Her subsequent reflections on physical, emotional and spiritual healing are summarized into twelve self-help steps.

Charles Hill on Life Changes With Filippo Radio Show

Charles Hill, Founder of United Steps was our guest on "Life Changes With Filippo" tonight. United Steps is a Los Angeles based non-profit organization addressing homelessness in a unique way working to break its vicious cycle. It was refreshing to talk with Charles and get a different perspective on Homelessness and what it really means, as opposed to the common misconceptions, according to him. It was also interesting to hear him talk about homelessness as something that can be eradicated as opposed to the usual rhetoric we hear.

Charles all but left his very successful business to devote his life to helping the homeless. He shared the following story: "Last season, while attending a Laker game, I kept thinking about the people outside of the Staples Center who not only couldn't afford to buy tickets, but wouldn't have a place to sleep that night. A strange feeling came over me as I wondered if anybody else thought about the same thing. I tried to continue enjoying Kobe Bryant and the rest of the great athletes, but I just wasn't into it anymore. For the remainder of the game, I watched in silence."

As he was inspired, so he is inspiring others to make a difference and one can hope that, not only will it be a lasting impression, but one that ends homelessness. Like Martin Luther King, Charles has a dream and we support that dream, for the good of all.

Alan Howarth on Life Changes With Filippo Radio Show

Alan Howarth was our guest tonight on our show tonight.

Alan is a Producer, Composer, Sound Designer and Founder of RA Music.

There was so much I wanted to ask Alan, because Alan composed the music for so many top films, from POLTERGEIST, RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK, all the STAR TREK movies, THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER, Coppola's DRACULA, TOTAL RECALL, and STARGATE, among others. As a composer, he's scored all or part of all the HALLOWEEN films, composed music for RETRIBUTION, THE DENTIST, and others. Music is such an important part of life, and films especially. Especially horror films. Can you imagine a scary movie without that scary music? But of course, though we touched on some of the scary film music, it was not because of that, that we wanted Alan on the show, even though it is fascinating.

It was mainly because of his RA Music. Alan has discovered something about the music, and how the frequencies of it can affect how we like it, or dislike it, but better yet, how we feel, where it "touches" us, how it can heal us or fill us, etc.

It is an amazing scientific study that he has done through experimentation including testing of sounds and vibrations, frequencies, etc. in the great pyramids and human tests with his music. He has found a way to take any music and run it through his software and have it be music that feels better, in fact, can resonate in your heart better.

Though we couldn't go as deep as I would have liked to, because of time, we got a good feel for what he and RA are about. But the cool thing is that we learned that he has made available the software on his website so we could run a song from one of our own song libraries through so we can actually see how it "feels," and sounds of course.

Julian Michael on Life Changes With Filippo Radio Show

Julian Michael is Julian Michael. There is no other way to describe him, he is one of a kind, and more power to him. I was introduced to Julian at an event where there were a ton of people in line to meet me. Julian steps right up to the front of the line and says to the people in line, "I have to meet Filippo next."

And while we spoke he assumed I didn't know who he was, but his reputation as a renowned numerologist had preceded him and I was happy to meet him. I met him subsequently at other affairs and even at one at my house, so when Julian came over for our in studio on-air interview, I knew it was going to be fun.

Julian also has a low voice, as I am told I have, and so we played with that on air as well.

Julian talked about numerology, where it came from, what it means, and what you can do with it. I found it not only interesting but accurate. He also did something really special on the air. One of our producers, Mark Skelton, and his wife Courtney had just had a baby days before this interview. So, on air, Julian did the numerology for Mark's baby boy, Kingston.

Mark then got on at the end of the show and told his wife that he loved her and thanked her for the gift of a son. It was a fun, funny and special show.

Michael Pattinson on Life Changes With Filippo Radio Show

Michael Pattinson was our guest on our radio show tonight. What a distinguished gentleman he is. You can learn all about him at www.creativemastery.net and actually at many other links which you can find at our website, www.LifeChanges.ws.

Michael was an artist who found he could see music, not the written notes, although he could see those too. But while music was playing and he could hear it, he could also see it, so he started painting the music that he saw.

Michael explains that music is just frequency and frequency is color and he was seeing the color and more and was painting it. He became quite famous in the art world with his paintings and had major showings in art galleries throughout the world.

But the reason we really wanted Michael on the show was because, after he stopped painting, he discovered that he could not only see music, but he could see energy and frequencies, period. And instead of paint them, he could tell people about them. In other words, he was seeing where energy was stuck in peoples' bodies and tell them what it meant.

Michael also started visions of the future and let me tell you, the future, according to Michael, is bright.

Dr. Enrico Nelson on Life Changes With Filippo Radio Show

Dr. Enrico Nelson, or Rico, as I call him, has the longest list of letters in front and behind his name, that I have ever seen. I would have to believe the man has been studying and getting credentials and degrees since the day after he was born, because he is not that old. But he is that smart. I have known Rico for awhile and always enjoy hearing him share on topics in which he is most knowledgeable, which in Rico's case, are quite a lot of them. One of the things that I like about Rico is that he can talk on many diverse topics, including and maybe especially the esoteric, which is wonderful for a medical doctor.

And that is one of the main reasons he was on our show tonight. The other reason Rico was on the show is because he has an exciting project that he is working on. That project is to have Medical Centers that incorporate exactly that, the esoteric healing modalities, right along side the modern, traditional medical practices. He has coined the phrase Integral Awareness Medicine and is real specific about what it is.

Kevin Vickery on Life Changes With Filippo Radio Show

Kevin Vickery was our guest tonight, as Producer of the film, "Fuel."

Kevin not only Co-Produced the film, which was a winner at the Sundance Film Festival, but he lives his life according to what the film promotes. What he and the film promote is green and sustainable living, amongst many other things that are good for us and the planet.

It was good to talk about "Fuel" and help promote the film, which will be premiering in a couple months in theaters everywhere, but it was also promoting a way of life that is something it seems we may all want to adopt for our own prolonged existence as a species and a planet.

Kevin went into some of the things that we can look into changing, and they didn't really seem that hard to do. Some can even be fun and easy.

Some might say Kevin is an activist, some might call him a realist, some might say he is a futurist, and the list goes on. I say, Kevin was a great guest and interview and I am grateful for his leading by example and sharing his ideas with us and our audience.

Kerli Koiv on LIfe Changes With Filippo Radio Show

Kerli Koiv I am sure will go down as one of my favorite interviews. To bad we weren't doing in studio interviews because it would have been wonderful to be with her as we talked. We went so deep.

Oh wait, I forgot to say how Kerli was our first singer, he, he. She was wonderful. It was interesting for me especially, because though I had talked to David Sereda and Gabriela Castillo on the phone on many occasions, I had not met them. But Kerli I had met several times, and she had been to my place a couple times and that made interviewing her even more special.

But Kerli would have been special no matter what because she is one in a million. And what was cool, was the blurring of reality and show biz. Kerli is all real. Though she is a big star with millions of fans and with major singing concerts around the world, she was as real as could be. Of course she knew her fans were listening and she kept it real in a way I had never heard from celebrities before, that I can recall.

Together we talked about a lot of things, but mainly that, keeping it real. I was curious how someone so famous and so young, very young, could keep it all together as she did. I wasn't surprised to learn that it wasn't easy, and that she works on it. But I was surprised to learn, that she fights with her record label to put out exactly what she wants to put out. She doesn't want her message of hope, love, acceptance, etc. to be changed. More power to her.

We also got to play one of her hit songs on the show, that was a first too. I enjoyed this interview no end. I can't wait to see Kerli again.
